May 31, 2006 will forever be William Hill Day in this freeroller's heart.
After receiving $200 back into neteller from Planetluck Casino ($100 deposit + $100 bonus), I deposited $80 into William Hill. The time according to the neteller records was May 31 00:03 GMT.
I knew I was not gonna clear the $2000 WR in one shot so I fully expected to just clear what I can only when I can. The site conveniently tracks the remaining wagering requirements so I didn't even have to manually track how much I had wagered.
Into the following evening for me (about 18 hours later), I'm playing my usual freerolls as I continued to complete the WillHill WR playing blackjack.
My freeroll results? A couple of minor just ITM cashes, a 41/1004, a 5th and a 2nd!! Here's the table as we reached heads up. I was slightly in the lead but I totally donked headsup play and finished second.

The great thing about blackjack online is that I could just leave the hand when I needed to concentrate at the poker tables. The bad thing was my thought processes at the final table were not completely 'win win win' but rather 'what an incredible overlay I'm getting with the casino bonus' and 'remember, ATo is not blackjack!'
Having a remarkably crazy run of good fortune at the blackjack tables didn't hurt my freeroll play any either! Thru out the day, my casino chip balance went in just one direction... UP.
After 560 bets, it was +9.50 at $169.50.
At 1070, it was +27.
At 1420, it was +40.50.
With $580 still needed to be wagered, I got creative. To speed up my play, I gave myself a new rule... whenever I won 2 bets in a row, I would start playing $2 bets until I lost one bet whereby I would drop back down to a $1 bet.
My final balance of $207 attests to the greater variance I encountered but by this point... I've had enough of mindless blackjack.
So now what? Well, another great thing at William Hill is that when you leave the casino, all your chips immediately revert into your master account.
And I was itching to play some poker!
I've known about the great Get Paid To Play deal over at William Hill Poker where for up to 5 hours each month, you get £5 for every hour playing. Since I didn't have the bankroll to risk in the past, I had decided to wait.
But now I have $207. And....
more importantly it was not yet 22:30 GMT... May 31st!
There was still a good 1.5 hours left in May GMT time, so dreaming of more bonus mana and remembering Klopzi's mantra of 'tighter is righter,' I found a seat at a full table, bought in at $50 and sat down at my first ever $1/$2 FL ring game.
Damn the tables were tight. The first table stats was showing 34% preflop and by the time I left, it was down to 28%.
'First table' you're asking?... yup, when I won my second hand with K9s in the SB against one limper with a simple 1 bet raise preflop causing the BB and limper to fold, I was embolden (ok, greedy) so I found another table with 32% preflop, and fired that up with a $50 buyin there.
Though playing scared at these great 1/2 heights, at one point I was actually $10 up at both tables! But at the stroke of midnight GMT, I transformed back into my donkish micro limit self and I finished with $53 and $46.50. So down 50 cents for 1.5 hours work.
(I need to post my donk hands for posterity sake but that'll be in another post)
It's now June 1st, 2006 in GMT land... I check my account balance at William Hill...
$234.51. I managed to clear $28.01 of the Get Paid To Play deal!
So I parlayed $80 into $234.51 in 24 hours at William Hill on May 31st, 2006.
Net Profit for the day $152.21 broken down as follows:
Casino Bonus $80
Blackjack Winnings $27
Poker Bonus $28.01
Playing Actual Poker at WillHill -$.50
Freeroll Poker Winnings at other sites $17.70

The only thing better than steering someone towards a good deal is learning that they've had a really good run of it as well.
Good job on the casino bonuses and at Will Hill!
I'll be continuing my whoring ways at Will Hill (yay June!) and various other casinos.
Check out my site later today for another good tip on a casino offering a pretty good overlay.
